The Sabbath day is Saturday. The only reason us christians go to church on sunday is because that is the day jesus was told to be crucified. however, one of the ten commandments is keep the sabbath day holy, and the sabbath day is saturday! i already see some churches having services on saturday.. others should follow.

The fourth commandment of the ten commandments clearly says the Sabbath is the 7th day of the week. Some say the ten commandments were nailed to the cross, but that doesn't make sense. I don't know of anyone who wants to eliminate the other commandments such as "thou shalt not steal" and "thou shalt not kill." Let's keep all ten as the Lord commanded and as Jesus did while he was here on earth.

Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday so that's the day we celebrate the Holy Day of the week.

Religious organizations (Seventh-Day Adventists, Seventh-Day Baptists, and certain others) claim that Christians must not worship on Sunday but on Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath. They claim that, at some unnamed time after the apostolic age, the Church "changed" the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday.

However, passages of Scripture such as Acts 20:7, 1 Corinthians 16:2, Colossians 2:16-17, and Revelation 1:10 indicate that, even during New Testament times, the Sabbath is no longer binding and that Christians are to worship on the Lord’s day, Sunday, instead.

You quoted: "it doesn't matter when we worship"

Period, it doesn't. The Ten Commandments, while still true to this day to help us live a prosperous and fulfilled life, the 4th one of "Remember the Sabbath Day and Keep it Holy", we must keep in mind that in the Bible it does not state what DAY is to be the sabbath, just the 7th day period. And in history books and by our cognitive timeline as humans, Saturday has typically always been the 7th day of the week. Hence why Saturday was created to be the Sabbath day by Jewish law. And when Jesus came, he never stated to change the day...He just told those who followed Him to keep it. It comes down to this, the Sabbath day is to be "remembered and holy." There is no mention of it is to be Saturday or Sunday, period. Just to remember it and keep it holy. So everyday in fact then CAN be treated as if it is the Sabbath, so when the 7th day does come around every week...it will be no more glorious than the other days. Because everyday is glorious, everyday is remembered and kept holy and treated as if it were already the 7th day. So to me, it really does not matter. As long as God at at the top of the priority list of one's life everyday, and each day is treated as the Sabbath, then what day the services for worship on the 7th day does not matter. Refer to Romans 14:5-6.

The Sabbath was part of the Law Covenant given to the ancient Nation of Israel.
Christ replaced the Law with Christianity.(Gal.3:24;Rom10:4)
As Christians we should worship Jehovah all the time.As far as meeting as a group for worship, there is no set day that matter more than the other

wrong. Jesus was crucified on Thursday. Maundy Thursday. Good Friday is the ascension. He rose again on the 3RD day. Sunday. Jews go to church on saturday. The first christians were jewish and one of the largest prooofs of Jesus' ressurection is that these believers now go to church on Sunday. Why did they switch to Sunday? Because this is the day Jesus rose from the dead. Sunday is central to Christianity, however Jesus said make every day a sabbath, which means honor god with your life every day.

My church has Saturday service and I go once in a while when I am volunteering in the Children's Ministry on that Sunday - I don't want to miss a service. Our Saturday services are not as big as a Sunday but sometimes that is nice not to be around 3000 other people

Jesus wasn't "told to be crucified" on a Sunday. He was crucified on a Friday. We worship on Sundays, because that is the day He rose from the dead.

jesus was crucified on FRIDAY, dummy, not sunday. and the reason christians go to church on sunday was a political decision to satisfy the pagan community which was being converted by the christian teachers of the first and second centuries, and was to commemorate the sun worshipers goddess. as well as to delineate themselves from the jewish rabbis and other jews in the roman empire.

depends on if you go to a church that celebrates life or law more. resurrection was on sunday, the law said saturday. jesus came to fulfill the law, so by that reasoning it is better to celebrate sunday. but really who cares, i'm just glad that there are people who think it's important to fellowship together and study and pray together. there's a lot of stuff that should unify us and only a little that could separate us, but for some reason people tend to major in the minors when it comes to christianity. peace out :)

I could and would go to church just about anyday a week. It wouldn't matter much to me which day the service was, I already go twice a week for services and then some for meetings, family nights, etc., etc.
