Don't use the circluar reasoning like, because it says here in the bible... The bible is false itself and contains more contradictions and changes than imaginable. Also, don't say, "who else created life and the universe." Just because you don't have a better explanation don't just make one up and demand I believe it when it still doesn't make sense. Now, give me evidence of you God, real evidence and proof. Not your vague personal accounts of him changing your life. Prove to me that he actually exist.

Actually lady blue, love has been studied and we have found many sources for it. Certain chemicals in the brain, fMRI scans, there is actually physical evidence.

By faith you are Saved.... not by logic... Somethings in the Bible don't seem to make sence to mere mortals, but then God is no mere mortal.

OK Boopie, here's my reasons. First let me be clear... I am NOT a Christian. I was raised in a Christian environment... but I'm not a Christian. You can take what I'm about to write and believe it, or you can simply chalk it up to the rantings of an idiot.

When Christians say they "believe" in God, what they are saying is, "I have faith that God exists." I have no such faith. I know that God exists. I have cetain knowledge of it because I have been to the other side several times. I have seen what people call heaven and have walked and talked with guides. These are not "vague personal accounts" of some esoteric event in my life.

There is life after death. There is a place we all go when we die. I know... I have been there... I have seen it... and believe me, religion...any and all religions have absolutely nothing to do with it. Saint or sinner. Rich or poor, Christian or Jew... we all go there. So don't fear death... it's only a step into another life!

Every knee will bend and every mouth will confess that Jesus is the savior. Yes even you when Judgment day comes around. But not every one will go to heaven or except his saving grace even when they admit justice has been served. To know in your heart while you are here on this earth is one of the big tests we are given and part of the reason why we are here on earth. Another is so we can chose for our selves how we want to act and what we want to believe, it is called free agency. On to the answer to your question, only you can prove it to yourself by letting your self have just a little faith and praying to God on your knees. Then just a flicker will come to you but if you fan it just a little you can grow it to a flame until you can no longer deny the truth that there is a God and he is all that they say he is in the scriptures.

I have no reason to prove to you or anyone He exists, nor do I "demand" you believe anything at all. My proof is subjective, but very real and very personal.

I have no evidence that my daughter loves me. Nothing "logical", nothing "empirical", nothing that can be measured or proved in a lab. Nothing that cannot be disputed by anyone who chooses not to believe it's true. But I have all the evidence I need and I know it to be true. Same is true about my relationship with God.

And I've seen the research on the neuro-psychological evidence of "love". If it were only chemical, why is it selective? Why do we choose who we love? The chemical traces may be the reaction to love, but not the origin. There are chemical signatures to fear, but what came first?

What? Me not talk about Bible? Bible perfect!!!
Seriously, anything written by a group of anonymous authors over a period of hundreds, if not thousands, of years and eventually compiled from oral traditions handed down even before that, has to be trustworthy. Otherwise, why else would we have our President swear on it when He takes office?

Also, I can imagine a lot of contradictions.

Oh yeah, and when you're ready to believe in god, he'll REVEAL HIMself to YOU!!!!!!

(there's your proof by the way, I used ALL CAPS, and the logic is all those exclamation points)

What logical evidence do you have that GOD does not exist? We have a Bible that was written a thousand years ago that has prophecies that are coming true now in this day and time. Archaeological digs have found that these places did in fact exist that are mentioned in the Bible as scrolls that were found in caves that speak of persons in the Bible.

That's the same thing the Pharisees said - they asked for proof AFTER Jesus had just performed miracles. Jesus came to Earth as man, lived on the Earth, performed miracles, raised the dead, healed the sick, and STILL they did not believe. There is nothing I can say to you that would prove God's existence - only God can do that. I will say, however, that if you truly seek, you will find.

You can know he exists because Satan exists enough to turn you from him and trick you into thinking that the bible is false - true there are contradictions and that is because the old testament was before grace - and the new testament is after grace - -also I do not doubt that somethings were lost in translation-but I would rather follow the bible as I have it than to ignore because some one messed up one or two lines translating - God knows what is truly in your heart

You poor soul. You either are on God's side or Satan's side....... You would argue even if someone told you. Your mind is closed and you will be sorry to live a life without God. You don't think so now. Some day you may cry out Oh God, Help me. He gives everyone a chance John 3:16

If I could prove to you that God exists, there would be no reason for faith. Faith is believing without seeing. Some people think that is naive and rediculous. God is the backbone of my life. Without him I would crumble. I understand that I have no "evidence" or "proof" that God exists. My answer is how could he not. What other religion has PROOF that their God exists, because I don't know of one. When I look at the sunrise and the stars at night, I know there is something bigger than me. I just choose God. Or God chose me.

Are you allergic to chocolate? That's the only way I can see that you might not believe in god. I have to agree that the whole christian thing is messed up, but chocolate is sure proof of god's existence. I also like Ben Franklin's take on it - "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
