hell yeah i would dodge the draft. It was differnent during the world wars but vietnam and iraq are just a joke. Anyone who thinks iraq is a legitimate use of resources and lives is more than welcome to head on over and raise the lower common denominator here.

No, there will be no restatement of the draft. Neither occasion desires to stand the voters over it. that's why the Dem's crushed it, while 2 of their senators tried to push a bill to reinstate the draft, merely earlier the final election. Oddly sufficient, merely in a while they launched press provides that the GOP replaced into going to convey the draft returned. Which replaced into all merely B.S. The mainstream media is surely stable at B.S. they're as stable at it through fact the politicians. there is no longer plenty distinction between the two. If it bleeds, it reads. The Marines are including 27,000 over the subsequent 4 years. attempting to repair the wear and tear the Mr. Clinton did to the protection stress. it is going to take time, yet there are those persons that are prepared to serve our county. conflict or no conflict.

Hec Yes, and I would go to war to keep my sons from fighting this personal war of Bush's and his Rich Croneys.

But, I do not understand why we do not require Iraq to instutute a draft. It would increase their arm forces and force the young rebels in that country to start fighting for Iraq's cause instead of fighting for some religous extremest.

The US is full of war supporters between the ages of 18 and 42 who don't join now, so I'm guessing they'll find someway to chicken out in the draft as well.

i'd be first in line to put my *** on the line but not for folks halfway around the world.

let 'em kill each other and leave us the f**k alone....

besides, we invaded & "occupied" the wrong goddamn country!
