I really don't see why not. My boss was in a terrible car wreck when she was young and had scars all up her leg and most of her back. She got a tattoo over the scars and it looks wonderful and she loves it. Gone are the nasty reminders and she now has something beautiful on her.

I don't see why the same wouldn't hold true for stretchmarks.

A tattoo will cover up the most part of your stretch marks and make it less likely anyone will notice them as oviously as before. I doubt that it would make a difference at all if you get a tat on normal skin or damaged skin, you can ask a professional though, and they will know for sure. I wouldnt take anyones adivice on here without checking with a tat specialist first as well. Good luck! Hope your tat comes out great!

i had strechmarks on my bicep and i am getting it tattooed over, it appears pleasant you cant even inform i've them ( i didnt get the tattoo to hide them) they simply must cross over them extra and it has a tendency to have got to be touched up once more after one hundred% medication

It will be distorted. You know when you tattoo over a mole you can still see it? Well it will look like that and you can see the stretch mark.

I'm not too sure. I have heard of people getting tattoos over large surgery scars, but not sure about stretchmarks.

You can, it may appear lighter on the stretch mark then the rest, but it will cover the stretch mark, and the color will stay like normal.
