Do they realize that atheist don't like religious, pagans dont like christians, christians dont like mormons or jehovahs witnesses, Jews dont like christians, islams dont like americans, or buddist. Gays dont like baptists, who dont like hindus. What was I saying? O, God Bless everyone, and I hope for everyone to be respectful of others.

Honestly, I think they had great intentions to unite all the religions together. I think it is great! Honestly, I tire easily of just all Christian forums. The same mundane hum-drum is discussed over and over and over again...and then once it is done, 6 months later the same topic comes up again and again and again. It gets so monotonous, and honestly...that is not how God intended for His people to work. He intended His people to go out unto the world and spread His love and word. Not sit amidst other believers all day long and discuss it. Yes, it is important we Christians gather together and dicuss matters (even whe sometimes it is the same stuff), but I do not believe for one moment He desires Christians to stick with themselves only. Otherwise, Christ would not have gone and sat amdist the sinners and talked with them while the Pharisess scratched thier head wondering why the Messiah would sit amidst such "unclean people?" I think it is great they did this. I find this more challenging and though provoking and helpful across the board than just a Pagan board, or a Christan board, or a Jewish or Buddhist...we are all humans, just different beliefs. I find that to be awesome! If we can sit and talk with one another on a bus, or in a mall, or grocery store...why not here?

I completely understand what you're saying.

But, on the other hand, how do you split it up? As you pointed out, Atheists don't get along with theists. But some theists don't get along with other theists. And even within Christianity, some denominations don't get along with others. And then there are all the people in between, who have sort of "half" religions. Where do they go?

And even if they could decide how to split it up, what would stop an atheist from going into the Christian forum and saying things to upset people. Or vice versa? At least this way, people can say what they want and the few mature people on here can have intelligent debate, and no one can say "you don't belong here!" Although the Christians try to do that, anyways (seriously, look around).

This is a great idea. The more we talk about all of this the more the ignorance will be disclosed and the more it is disclosed the more the truth will be revealed. Everyone ultimately has free will to accept what ever they choose. But when the truth is actually spoken that plants a seed and that seed has a chance to grow.

In my opinion....Yahoo is doing it right. Either there is or their isn't just one God and just one way to find God.

Regardless....we are all human and we all should be given an equal chance to learn about everyone's religion and everyone's ideas that lead to the next place in our lives.....that lead to wherever we are going.

The human spirit will overcome all differences.....it's probably one of the only things we all hope for.

There cant be a section for every different type of belief, religion or anything else, otherwise where would it end.

Should we would have separate sections for people with different hair colours ext. It would be segregating, and you would still get a cross over. Where would it end? ie- ive got dark hair and im atheist. Which section would i go in, if you get my drift.

What would be the fun if we were all the same? Just imagine a section with a bunch of people all from the same religion patting each other on the back all day.

This is better

I like most religions, after all the core beliefs are shared through out, love of God, love of each other and love of peace, its some of the followers I don't get.

Yeah, I've actually wondered that too, that there are SO MANY stinkin religion questions on here (and half of them are by nutjobs who are just trying to rile certain peoplegroups, shame on them). Anyway, there are tons of types of religions and just one tiny subsection for it. Interesting!!!

Just like it is here on earth.

Maybe they were figuring that in cyberspace no one gets shot and maybe an intelligent dialogue might occur from time to time?

How can we ever come to respect each other if we can't even talk to each other?

You are dead wrong about who doesn't like whom. You cannot generalize about religion -- we are all individuals!
