You do not understand what they believe. It is simple. What we read in the bible is Christs earthly, mortal ministry. He died and three days latter was resurected. He spent a number of days as a resurected being among his deciples. Then he left them. It was at this time that he went to the Americas. It was the same person not two different people. He taught them all that he taught the people in isreal. He healed their sick and blessed their children. He showed them the marks in his hands, feet, and side.
That the resurected savior apearded in the americas is what Mormons believe. Not that the Jesus in Isreal was some farce. If you want to know what Mormons believe please visit the official cite rather than listining to rummers from people who have either not studied the religion or have reason to be angry with the religion.

The same being I suppose. He certainly ought to have that power.I think they say it was after he was resurrected and before he ascended to the father. I have found nothing in the bible that dismisses that possibility. Jesus appears to a handful of people in isreal at that time but only on and off. The bible does not say where all Jesus went or what all he did in that time period.
Christ does tell his apostales(in my own words) in John 10:16, I believe it is, that he has flocks that are not of the same fold as thiers and he says they will here his voice also. A person could probably take that many ways, but one is for certain, He was stating that there are others. As far as him saying they will hear his voice, the question is does he mean literaly they will audibly hear him or not. Some might say what he meant would be that all the gentiles would hear him by the spirit only when that time came, but I'm not sure I would take it that way.

Thay are the same persons. I believe that he also came over to the Americans, i personally dont know when. He could have come the 3 days when he died. He had to. The Book of Mormon says Nephi had a vision in which he saw when Jesus died, There where earthquakes and all kind of mother nature happenings where thay where. Then Jesus came over there the days he died and helped them just liked he did in Israel.

Why not ask the witnesses. The Hopi today talk about their white brother, Pahana, who will return and restore their religion.

The very same. He visited both continents after his resurrection - you know "Other sheep I have which are not of this fold." that would be the people in the Americas.
He is the Lord, he can "continent jump"...
