My old Sony had this feature. A lot of cell phone calls come in as out of area, etc. If I program the number in the phone book and the name that I want it to show, I know immediately if I want to answer that call. I have a day care and I need to know if it is a parent calling, otherwise, I may not answer the call due to my busy schedule.

I have a Panasonic 5.8 GHz multi-handset phone system, and each handset has a phonebook which you can program to display the phonebook entry based on its caller ID info.

I've programmed them to include my own cell phone#, and to play a ringer different from the default sound.

Most motorola phones have that feature. I have the Motorola razor phone, and the caller ID comes up as it is entered in my phone book.
