First off Semper Fi. Secondly, eat a balanced diet of up to 3000-4000 calories a day. You'll need to run, do sit ups and pull ups like crazy for the next year and a half. Hopefully you'll put on some weight and muscle mass. Stay away from junk food...no fast food...eat eggs, meat, chicken, drink plenty of water and fruit juices. Stay away from the soda. Also try to cut out as many sweets as you can. In boot camp you'll get a rude awakening. The food there is terrible. You'll lose weight without even trying (this is why you need to gain some good body weight now). You should be proud that you're joining the finest fighting force that has ever existed. Good luck.

ok babe, you need to build muscle and bulk up.....big time, you're probably much more flexible than bigger guys so thats a pluse/ You need to eat a lot of carbs and can't possibly consume too much protein......meat, meat, meat at every meal. Protein drinks too, you need to go to your recruiter, he can tell you exactly what regime to be on so you can gain muscle mass before you head out to boot camp. If you aren't hooked up with one yet, drop me a line and I will Raul or my Rick drop you an email, they are both marine recruiters!
Good luck hun, wish the best and thanks for being a hero!
