i have experienced that thing and it lasted even for 2 weeks..i went to a OB gyne and she prescribed me a drug so my period will stop and pills so my period will go back to its normal cycle

i have the same problem....go to your doctor and have him put you on birth control pills they well short your period up to 3 days

its better to see a doctor.
But there is one natural medicine you can try.
If you can get "Banana blosom (Flower)" in your place, you can take the small white stuff from it and extract it's juice and drink it 2 times a day for 2 days. It will immediately stop the bleeding.
