well I'm celebrating my Mom's bday in march 2007 ..My problem is that I would love to have a video with pics, music and her friends opinions to show that day at the party But I don't have money to get it done professionally , I'm willing to buy a program and make one myself because I have a computer at home and a lot of time to spend in the process. Now here's is my question: Do you know of any program that can help me to create a video like that??? of course that is not hard to follow and understand.. If you know of any I would really appreciatte your help My mom will be the hapiest woman in the world if I do something like that for her ..thanks!!!

hey..that is an awesome idea..last christmas i made one for my entire family, , starting with pics of my dad when he was a baby and all through his life and then my moms and then them together, then each one of us kids and their kids..it came out awesome..i am 33 years old and never saw my daddy cry like he did..there was not a dry eye in the room..everyone was so suprised..i had kept it a secret...when i would go to my moms i would steal a few old pictures at a time so no one would know.....

ok this is what i did..i took all the pictures that i wanted for the slide show and scanned them onto my computer...most computers have programs that allow you to view your pics you have stored as a slide show..so thats what i did just to see how it would turn out..once they were all scanned..then at the same time i had some music loaded on my compter and played that several times till i got it to work out with all the pics...

now i have a cd burner.. i burned all my pics to a cd..most home DVD players now will play a CD of jpeg pictures as a slideshow..with about 7 seconds in between each pic...the problem is that you cant get the music on the same cd unless you get it professionally done..or buy a program which was like 80 bucks at walmart...

what i was gonna do was since i didnt want to spend a lot on this..i had all the pics on a cd, put that in the DVD player at my sisters, where i knew we were gonna celebrate christmas at..and it worked...they played as a slideshow on her tv..then at the same time i had a cd burned with all the music i wanted on it and i played it on the stereo..and it worked out ok..then i called around just to see if someone could combine the music and pics together..and there was a photographer here that could for 50$.....so thats what i ended up doing just so it could be a lil nicer and all together on one CD since I was giving this to my parents as a gift to keep after....

It was the BEST 50 dollars i ever spent...they loved it..I had even desingned a CD sticker lable with there pictures on it and put there names and the date....they loved it...hope some of this info helps..if ya need to know more just email me...kajungal1027@yahoo.com....good luck!!!!!

I observed a "one time use" digital video digicam at a drug shop (C.V.S.) it is around 20 money - and holds 20 minutes. - once you carry it back they placed it ona d.v.d. - you need to get a pair of them, and once you get the disks back you are able to edit and upload stuff inclusive of your place pc - burn it onto a prevalent sparkling disk. - i won't be able to have the money for a digicam and all of the hook united statesyou want - so it is what I do. -
