When I read your question, the same year came to mind 2012.
Had no idea about the Mayan calender ending but 2012 is my choice also.

Of course everyone wants to know but as we all know a lot don't even believe in God or the Church. There is a lot of work to be done until then. Lets get busy fellow Christians and stop worrying about when it comes. With everything that's happening now its a sign we need to be more involved in prayer to help lead the lost to Christ! With the sarcasm its understandable you see that they are in denial but things will happen that will change their way of thinking before long. Again! The only reason the mayan calender ended is because the Spanish murdered them all before they could finish it.

If you seriously think it will happen on 2012, you need help.
Nothing will happen.
Just like all the people who were convinced it would happen during their lifetime, nothing will happen.
