Maybe I can give you a little inspiration. I lost over 100lbs in a little over a year and have kept it off for almost 3 years. I at first had the same problem that you are having. Lets be honest, losing weight is not the easiest thing in the world to do. You really have to want to do it. Don't think of losing weight as this awful thing that you have to do, think of it as something that you want to do for you. Its really a lifestyle change. You have to exercise regularly, eat a well balanced diet, drink plenty of water and keep a food journal. Keeping a food journal is the best way to see exactly what your eating and how much and what you need to cut back on in your diet. Also, learning how to properly read food labels is very helpful. I think that when your ready to do it you will and you will feel great. Good Luck

Let me cut some of the hoo-hah for you here. I'm a success story- I've gone from 300 pounds to about 230 and lost over 12 inches off my waist since I started three years ago. Here's what I did.

Be warned, this is NOT a quick fix and it will be long and hard at times, but it will generate the best and most lasting results.

First, modify your diet. Take in a LOT of extra fruits and vegetables, especially the following:
'Pit' fruits such as plums, nectarines, and peaches
Strawberries
Citrus- Oranges can DOUBLE your metabolism for 8 hours
Beans- use in moderation, but always eat some. They have important enzymes and extra protien
Broccoli- Excellent for calcium, and pretty good when steamed. Try to avoid boiling.

Next, eat NOTHING fried, and drink NO cola at all. Avoid any foods with artificial sweeteners. Those will slow down your metabolism and hurt you.

Third, adjust WHEN you eat WHAT.

Eat a large meal in the morning consisting largely of carbohydrates with a small amount of protien. For this, I find a big bowl of Raisin Bran, a scrambled egg, and a couple slices of melon or a nectarine suffice nicely.

Eat a midmorning snack consisting of something sweet- again, fruit is the best choice. You're still trying to boost your carbohydrates so you have energy for the day. You'll start the wind-down at lunch.

Lunch is going to be tougher. It's a balanced meal where you need to take in a balanced amount of carbohydrates and protien, but in all honesty it won't hurt you to replace lunch entirely with a fruit smoothie or an array of fruits and veggies. I suggest the latter for faster weight loss, the former if you're really going slowly.

A mid-afternoon snack of more fruit and if you feel like it a couple chicken wings or something light, but it's not supposed to fill you up, just keep you from getting really hungry until dinner.

Dinner has to be eaten before 7:00 PM. This is an absolute necessity, otherwise it botches your metabolism and you gain weight while you sleep. Don't eat anything after 7:00 other than citrus or you'll negate the entire day. Dinner should be heavy on protien and very light on carbohydrates- you're done for the day and any excess energy will be stored as fat. Chicken is good, salmon is best. Try to avoid beef or other heavy meats if at all possible.

That is the basic diet plan. Now to the exercise regimen.

30 minutes of aerobic exercise every day is all you need. Yes, I know it's not easy to find the time, and I know it's hard sometimes. But 30 minutes of hard walking or running will double your metabolism yet again, and optimally with a good citrus boost and run, your metabolism will be operating at up to 4x normal for about eight hours. During this time you will burn an amazing number of calories as your muscles recuperate from exercising. Try to exercise in the morning, before you eat breakfast, as you will be drawing entirely from stored reserves. If you can, add anaerobic exercise as well- situps, pushups, weights, etc. The more muscle mass you add the more calories you'll burn and the higher your metabolic rate will be.

This diet and exercise program is actually one of the most flexible and easiest out there- it allows for a huge variety of foods and doesn't want you to burn yourself out exercising all the time. And I promise, from experience, that it can and will deliver real results. Best of luck to you!

Hello, Sweet, you are not alone, you know! You need strength of heart and soul, and I don't know anyone who can muster that alone. Is there an Overeater Anonymous meeting nearby that you could try out? If one meeting isn't comfortable, you might want to try another. It may be difficult to attend a meeting and maybe KEEP ON attending, but do it, regardless of how you feel. If you're like me, my feelings go up and down; they are changeable, though valid. Also, pray... ask for help. The strange thing is that whenever I have asked for help, really desired help deep down and asked, that prayer has been answered. I find the inner peace, strength, clarity, will power, whatever! that I needed to keep going.

Exercise! Believe me, it's the only way to have a fit body. Along with regular exercise, you may also control your food intake with Weight Loss/Hoodia sample. These will help develop firmer muscles, while you burn fats and shed off those extra pounds. Check out this site http://www.upkb.com/weightloss.php... for more info.
