i have been single seince november of 2005 and every man that i go on a date with wants sex and i am not ready for that type of relationship....i am very commited to my children and they don't need men trapsing through their lives like that...am i wrong or right for this please help me in this matter?? are all men dogs and don't care what a women think about whats going on???? or do you think that i have respect for myself?????

Yes. Men are dogs. That's the exact reason.
You having sex with men doesn't bring them in to your kids lives. If he stays over and has breakfast at the table with the family, maybe. But, if he's in and out (no pun intended) then the kids don't get attached.
Don't hop in the sack too quick. Just don't rule it out if you think you might like it.
What's bad is if a guy hangs around too long waiting for the sex, kids get attached, he realizes you won't give it to him, then you explain to the kids that he left because he didn't get any, then the kids grow up thinking the only way to keep someone is to put out.
Crazy circle, I know.

You definately have respect for yourself darling. If this is all that men want, then i'm sorry but tey are just not good enough for you(or you are just too damn sexy).
But just keep doing what you are doing, when you are ready, with the RIGHT man, let things happen. The right man will respect what you want.
But for now, take care of the joys of your life, i'm sure you will appreciate it uch more than horny men.

woamen also want men for sex. Maybe you really do watn sex but are just uncomfortable with the idea. Its great that you care about yourself and your children. you shouldnt feel obligated to sleep with somone. If you dont want to have sex tehn dont, but sont feel like a bad person if you do.

You are hanging with the wrong men, apparently. There are lots of men out there who are not so pushy. You should not give up so easily! And try dating different kinds of men. In other words, look for them in different places than you have been looking for them and try men with different personalities than the ones you have been dating. Good luck!

I can understand how you feel. This man that I knew recently only wants to jump into bed too. When I told him that I am not for this. He stopped calling me and had disappeared. I think you should concentrate on bringing up and spending time with your kids. Of course, you do have respect for yourself. Otherwise, you will not be posting this query. As i'm 23...a boy...Well of coz, we a gf that we do really care of her and expecting they love n care bout us too....
but we do hv the devilest side too....as we would not mind that we got another kind of 'gf' in contact.....
