I thought I wasn't going to have to deal with this until the move out clean of my apartment, but as it turns out there is an inspection of all the units in a week. I'm getting desperate!

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works awesome at removing crayon, marker, pen, pencil whatever from walls. It's amazing!!! I used it when I moved out of my old house, I was amazed at how much dirt and writing where on the walls from my kids! It restored the walls back to new, I didn't have to repaint!

To remove crayon marks from walls (or any surface really) use WD-40. Spray a little on a soft cloth and wipe the mark away.
I had red crayon on a white wall and it removed every speck of the crayon mark!!
WD-40 also works to remove candle wax, stickers, and those stupid decals we put in the bathtub so we don't slip. When the edge starts peeling, just lift and spray a little WD-40 under it and it pulls away easily.

Those "inspections" are not too see how clean you keep the apartment. They are to make sure that everything is in working order. They want to make sure the furnace is working properly (winter is coming you know), make sure there is no mold in the bathroom that should be taken care of. They want to make sure that all smoke detectors are working, make sure the plumbing and electrical are in good shape. They're not there to inspect your cleaning habits.
