Get the right education, Study hard, Get good Grades and count on 4 yrs pre-med, 4 yrs Med, at least 4 of specialty residency. Get the best grades you can and be a sponge! Soak all the knowledge you get in and use it to become the best Ortho you can be! What would you specialize in? Backs, knees etc?

Start by contacting a good Med School and taking a tour! Might even get a chance to Shadow and Orthopedist for a bit! Might make or break the idea of becoming one!
