Thers this wierd lump on my hand that developed over a few months. About 2 months ago, i fell hard on sand and pebbles&got a cut on my palm. After a few weeks, there was a scab and then completly healed. I thought it was fine and left it alone. I didnt realize it but it felt like a rock was in my hand. I realized it wasnt a rock and there was a blueish blackish dot visible on the hard lump. The dot got bigger then before. It stings a little wen i poke the dot but wen i poke anywere else on the lump, its fine. Can someone explain to me what this is, what can happen if i dont treat it and how can i treat it. thanks

Hmmm, two things come to mind:
1. a tiny piece of rock was stuck in your hand and your body's defense mechanism "encapsulated" the foreign object and is slowly pushing it out.
2. Synovial/ganglion cyst. Nothing harmful, can go away on its own or be surgically removed or a syringe can "suck" out the fluid inside if it's bothersome.
Neither condition of the above conditions is serious, just sort of annoying. I'm not a doctor, just so you know.

Sounds like a grain of sand got trapped in the cut. Scar tissue formed around it making the lump. I think you will have to have a doctor excise it.

you should go to the doctor. there's definitely a foreign object in your hand. it may have been a pebble from when you fell, that was deep, then worked it's way up to the surface. but, whether a pebble or not, there's something in there! good luck!

Maybe an abcess. It needs to be looked at by a dr. Should probably be lanced and drained.
