I work on reception and use a PABX switch for the past week the display that shows incoming/outgoing calls doesn't work so I can't see which ext I'm puting customers through too or if it's an internal call. The rest works fine all other lights etc. A tech pushed a few buttons and checked the main board, I think it's some sort of board that shows all the phones operating off the PABX. He can't work it out. What is wrong with the display and how can we fix it?

depends on what kind of phone system and switchboard you are using, i know are operators here there swicthboards are pretty generic and program up easy, now if you are using a multiline phone see if its programed up right. also check to see if you need a power suply for the set. that my suggestion with out kknowing the type of PBX and switchboard you are using
