Hi Nicole...cat's claws seem to be easier to manage with a clip every 10 - 12 days as this keeps the cat's claws from getting too sharp.

Only clip them a little bit at a time with a few days rest period in between clipping.
Cats and dogs have a vein that runs in the nails that can grow down to the tip if the nails have not been clipped recently.
Consult your vet if you need further instructions as he/she is the best expert on your kitties care.
Good Luck

I cut my cat's claws around every two weeks. Just make sure that when you cut them you don't cut the quick (the pink vein thing) or else your cat will bleed.

probably about once a week, that's how often i do my kitty's nails. Youl'll know when because her nails will hurt when she kneeds into your skin, also clip just the points off, don't go too far

Whatever you do, never cut the pink. the cat will be in bad pain and bleed all over your carpet.
