i have been seeing and talking to this guy for a few months and now he wants some space so he can sort himself and his issues out however its driving me up the wall wondering about him. and wanting to talk to him and i check my e mail lots to see if he's sent me any... and he said when he sorted him out he would talk to me.and i'm trying to be paiteint and wait. but how the heck do i get the thoughts of him out of my head and my heart?

i'm not obbsessed! just so you all know that. its just that sometimes at odd moments in the day and night i find myself wondering what he is up to and how he is doing. and i care about him alot and he told me he also cares for me. i just wanna know how to get my mind off of him?

I've been there. Try a 12 step program/meeting, like CODA (co-dependenta anonymous or SLAA. It doesn't matter what age you are. They are wonderful to get it off your chest and no one comments or ridicules you. It's free and way better than counseling. 12 step works! Good luck and hang in there. Try to also get support from a church or girlfriends. But meetings are better, that way you don't feel like you're bugging your girlfriends. Take care!

obsession is not a good thing. It doesnt seem that his feelings are mutual, and you cant expect him to feel the same. Letting go is hard, go and make new friends to take your mind off of him.
