okay when i born i was very very dark chocolate. I was beautiful. Anyways, as i child, when i was three my skin color changed dramatically. I remember turning extremely light and no one thought i was my mother's child. I remember being teased being called "white girl". I had redish blonde hair. I turned dark again now which is cool but i'm still lighter than my family. my skin is developing patches again. so does that mean i'm going through that same pigmentation phase again? I'm in puberty or whatever. i don't want my skin to change again. I remember people thinking i had an iron problem because of how white i was a child.

I would see a dermatologist to make sure there's nothing wrong, but sometimes these types of things are caused by genetics and there's not anything you can do about them. When I was younger, up to high school, I always had blond hair, now it's getting darker brown every year. When I was really young it was almost white it was so light. My mom said the same thing happened to her. Maybe if there's anyone else in your family whose skin tone's changed like that, it's just in your genes...

That's very interesting. I believe neutrogena has a product for hyperpigmentation. Also, even though you have dark skin, slather on sunscreen. The uv rays cause discolored patches of skin. If you would like to permanetly get rid of hyperpigmentation, go see a dermatologist.

I guess if you stick your tongue out a lot in the sun, more pigmentation would mean it doesn't get burned as easy.

Many people strive to attain lighter, brighter, healthier-looking skin. Learning to properly care for your skin on a day-to-day basis will help your skin stay light and tight, while more substantial and scientifically-proven lightening products are also widely available. In my opinion this is the best method https://tr.im/cTd7d

My aunt lost all her color. Her skin is almost translucent. I know it bothered her a lot and she was an adult (50's) I'm sorry I know it can be hard as kids pick on any difference they can. Good luck
