It's worth it. I used Noxzema all through my teen years. I still use Noxzema cleanser. I wore Cover Girl make up too which is Noxzema. I still wear Cover Girl to this day. I've tried other brands and they break me out. I am a red head with very sensitive skin.

Noxzema is not the best product for skin care. It dries out the skin, despite how "moisturizing" it says it is, or how smooth it makes your skin feel. The only thing Noxzema is good for is sunburns, period. Otherwise, you are better off sticking with a system created specifically for acne that has a scrub cleanser (gentle scrub, not a heavy grit), toner and mosturizer that has salicyilc acid in it...something like clear.Now. Otherwise, you are tinkering with your skin and wasting your money. Purchase a product that works, not try this and try that to see it will work. That will always waste more money than finding a product that works and sticking with it despite what your friends use. Use what works for you...but choose a product high in quality (usually a little more price wise, but worth every penny when you find the product for you) that a dermatologist would recommend. Keep this in mind, your skin is the largest organ on your body. Everything you use on it (and even take into your body) will affect it. Treat your skin as a prized invesment, because it is. It is the first thing people see on you. So to take care of it properly, proper care is needed...treat it like an investment by investing in products that will clean and protect it well.

Noxema is a medicinal cream. I have had an occasion to use it for healing a detergent burn, (from accidentally spilling wisk over my hand, and the skin was burned off.) tottlay covering the very itchy and burning open sore with a very thick layer of Noxima for a few days, and all was taken care of in a few days. I know the subject is unrelated, I would trust, that Noxema is worth your time for a try.

The original Noxzema has menthol, which is what gives you the tingle. Menthol is a skin irritant, and the tingle is irritation, so it's not good for sensitive skin!

I wouldn't reccomend it. I would use neutrogena, clearasil ultra, or clean and clear. From my past experience, noxzema really burns when you lather it in your skin, and it really stings whiteheads. However, if you do choose to use noxzema at all, avoid thier line of the 'citrus' products. Those contain alcohol that can be harmful to sensitive skin.
