I usually do things every day that would come under that category. I just like being nice, in real life.

I do nice stuff all the time with no intention of getting anything back. I open doors for people with a lot of bags or books, If someone drops something I try and pick it up, and if someone is looking lost I ask if they need help. The only thing I usually get in return is the good feeling I have afterwords. The world isn't as bad as you think it is.

Personally I do nice things for strangers all the time. Not only does it help them out, but it sets a good example for my daughter to follow, as children do as their parents have done.

Hell, I could make an entire list of nice things I've done. And because I'm bored, I'll put a few of them down here, seeing as how that is what you're asking.

- Helped an elderly woman carry her shopping bags out to the car.
- Gave $20 to a man who was homeless and hungry.
- Donated money to the local RSPCA and only adopt pets from there.
- Babysitting for a friend of a friend instead of going to a concert.
- Spending every day on the internet giving advice and listening to people who just need somebody to talk to about their problems.

My hubby and I did it just today. We were leaving Walmart and there was a man sitting on the side of the road, holding a sign, needing money. Well, the traffic was terrible and we wanted to pull over but there were too many cars behind us, and things were crazy. So, my hubby was ready to just get home, but I told him, we have to go back. Hubby wasnt happy, but he turned around, (after we had gotten way on down the road), and we went back. When we pulled up to him, hubby wouldnt let me get out to give him some money, so HE jumped out, ran around the truck real quick, gave the guy a 20, and ran back around the truck, and we took off. Had to be fast, cuz its such a bad street, in a weird area.

Anyway, it just happened today. We both felt good about it.

I help people all the time. Nothing gives me greater joy. However, we live in a cruel world. People do not appreciate anything. They mistake your kindness for stupidity. I love helping people.. I always told myself that--if I win the lottery, half of the money will be given to people that need it the most. And that's coming from the heart

i always try to do something nice for people, especially elderly and homeless. i was walking home from school and i saw an old lady carrying a bag full of can foods, she had to stop every few seconds and rub her knuckles. I took the bag and carried it to her house. She was telling me how she lived in the same house for 70 years and no one has ever bothered to help her. Then she told me she had no money to offer me, I never asked for money, i was just trying to be polite. It made me realize how selfish some people can be.

I do nice things for strangers every single day. Holding doors for them, letting them in front of me in traffic, smiling at them, complimenting them, listening to them. It's what makes my day. Would you say that was being selfish? Maybe, in a way. But I'm spreading the love!

What I love doing is holding my change in my hand at the check-out and if the person in front needs 5 cents or 10 cents so they don't need to break a note, and giving it to them is fun. The appreciation and amazement on their faces is great and leaves me feeling good!

I helped someone get home who was very far away at the time. How I did it or how far isn't important. Yes, God does know my heart, but I don't need the approval of others to help my fellow man. I don't seek recognition nor reward.

I do nice things for others all of the time without expecting anything in return. You have to live by the golden rule, do unto to others as you would have done unto you. Is there any other way to live?
