I do not know your parents. But if you love your girlfriend enough it should not matter the reaction you get from your parents. I think it is the Mums that is easy to win over because I think mothers are closer to their sons and having said that-they would be over protective over their sons as well. I suppose it is no particular time but the mood they are in
