my won't let take the pill, because she says that it messes with my body in ways that are unnatural. and also, she didn't come out and say it, but i think that she won't let me take it because she doesn't want me to start screwin around with guys, because i wouldn't be worried about pregnancy.

Get on Birth Control Pills, they will help regulate your period over time (not right away, but maybe after 6 months).

Okay there are a few things you can do.
You need to get to know your body.
First, apart from going on the pill (and even then it might not work) there is nothing you can do to make it regular.
So, you need a big fat notebook! (aka calendar) and you will need to lookup some stuff about ovulation.
If you can pinpoint when you are ovulating you can roughly predict when you're going to bleed. Also if you don't ovulate you will know not to expect any period and have an explaination for why!
To find out when you are ovulating you can get an ovulation microscope and you look at your saliva at in the morning which will tell you (or give you an indication) of when you are fertile/ovulating.
Chart your (basal body) temperature every morning with a digital thermometer, it will change through your cycle (note when it goes up by .4 degrees assuming it is not caused by illness)
Getting to know your pattern will give you an indication of whats going to happen.
Pay attention to things like discharge. The amount will change.
Also your general pms symptoms if you have any.
But all these things can be affected by other things so you need to try and follow as many as you can and keep note of it. You will figure out a pattern. If you don't know anything about what i've just said it will make no sense, but trust me once you read up on it, it will be really enlightening.

Usually young women don't have a definitie pattern of their period. Once you get older, your period starts to form a pattern and it will stay that way. Its really not unusual, because it happens to almost everybody at a certain point. Just be prepared. Plus, you can go to the doctor and see if they'll prescribe you a birth-control pill. B.C. pills not only prevent pregnancy, but they also help you regulate your period.

This is quite a common problem. You should talk to your doctor, the contraceptive pill can help with irregularity, you don't need to be having sex to take the pill. With the pill you know exactly when you will be having your period every month, it's just great!!

I am 29, and my period has been this way since I was 13. They told me to take birth control pills to regulate them, but it didn't work for me. I have one on the 6th, the next month I could or could not have one. It also has to do with stress. Stress can cause you to miss a period or prolong it.!.!

first off, your very brave for asking this! um, if you just got your period, it happens alot, but otherwise if you've had it for awhile, then yea. mine was really irregular, and it would usually come on the same day as my best friend. and i lot a few best friends so it was always irregular. I'm not sure What stopped it, but just look out for signs that your about to get your period, like cramps, usually 2 weeks, or you feel queasy, anything like that! good luck!!!

This is very popular. What regulates and irregulates your menstrual flow is your pituitary gland (the gland that regulates hormones). If you want to get onto "Female Hormone Replacement" which is an estrogen pill you take, that can help regulate your period more.

It's not uncommon, especially if you are very young or if you are under certain types of physical stress. Check with a gynecologist to be safe. he or she will check for any hormone problems, but I wouldn't worry for now.
P.S. Your husband will not divorce you.
