I read a Yorkie named Sylvia was 2 1/2 in. tall and 3 1/2 in. long. At full size, weighed 4 ounces. She died shortly after her 2nd b-day in 1945..

Believe it or not! The world's smallest dog is a Yorkshire Terrier named Danka Kordak Slovakia. He is 7 inches long and stands 3 inches off the ground.

Well, the chihuahua and yorkshire terrier are both small, but it really depends on the dog itself. Some may be unusually small, and some may be unusually large, just like people, so it really depends on the dog itself.

at one time it was the Chin, they have been breed larger now but at one time they were small enough to be kept in a bird cage. now there are so many mini, and toy breeds it is hard to say. i have seen some very very small tea cup chihuahuas they are no bigger than 2 lbs at 1 yr

A teacup chihuahua most of the time but it normally just depends on the dog.
