My girl is totally psychotic, I swear. Every time we talk she tells me she really likes it when I call her baby and claim her as my own in public. I didn't think it was a big deal but we were chilling at a pub one day and I called her by her name and a few minutes later she takes me by the hand and drags me to the bathroom and tells me to call her baby. I was a little wasted at the time but now she keeps dragging the problem on. I asked her why it was such a big deal and she told me girls like it when guys call them theirs. I don't understand it at all. What's her desirable need for this? I don't mind doing it but why is she acting so high maintenance and prissy about it? It's kid stuff and I don't like it though I don't plan on breaking up with her over something as dumb as this...are girls programmed like this or is my girl just really really immature?

Yes, I would say this is definetly immature, It is nice when your guy calls you baby or something sweet, but it is just weird, to get mad and demand to be called these names, totally immature.

She's not crazy... she's not needy. Be glad you have a girl that can tell you what she wants. Enjoy it. It's a good thing.
This girl is madly deeply in love with you and you have a diamond and don't know it.
My girl likes it when I call her baby too. Don't know why... its nature and I love her so I say it and mean it too.

well...lol not all women are like this at all..a lot are very independant and do not want to be seen as a "man's property" some women do like to feel that they belong to someone, its not weird, its not immature its just the way she happens to be..I can understand it being weird having to call her by all these cutsy names...sounds like this is going to be something that will continue, seems like a personality trait really.

She is really immature. I personally would not stand for a guy to try to posses me. She sounds like she thinks that's what you are going to like and is trying to please you or get you to think she is really cool.
