I love him, but we're so different. And he's obnoxious and a womanizer but I know he loves me too.

If you KNOW he is obnoxious and a womanizer, why would you believe that he loves you? GET OUT NOW, before he breaks your heart...I can guarantee you he will. My daughter has been there many times, but just as she had to, you will probably not believe anyone and end up Broken Hearted. Always remember YOU are number 1 to be happy..not a guy you think you're in love with.

It is just your heart and your mind disagreeing. Your heart will get over this crush. Your mind might be the be the best one to listen to. If you know it will not work, spare your heart the future pain. It may be hard at first but move on and when you find the right guy, you will say to yourself- What was I thinking, crushing on that obnoxious guy?!

been there and done that...i wasted almost 7 yrs of my life on this guy who turned out to be a class a jerk. he loved me also but couldn't quit looking at all the young girls. and talk about obnoxious....grr. i can't believe i was so dumb. good luck. if he is obnoxious now what do you think he would be in the long haul.

If he loves you, then it is probably not in the form or fashion of having a committed relationship with you.
Find a way to love him as a friend only. You already know that he has problems. If you attempt to have a relationship with him other than friends, his problems will be your downfall; he won't change for you; mostly likely he will tell you that he was like that when you met him and if you don't like that's your problem. Keep him as a distant friend and find someone who already has himself together on a mature level.

I guess the ball is in your court. If you can put up with his negative qualities, be my guest. If both of you love each other, then both of you will sacrifice and try to put away negative behaviors that may potentially hurt one another, on the other hand, don't ever go into a relationship thinking that you can change the other person. Unconditional love never tries to change a person for who they are. In other words take him or leave him the choice is yours.

Drama only belongs on Lifetime. Relationships need to be positive and constructive to work otherwise all you have is raw human mating instinct that's going to kick the crap out of you when you let it play with your head. And seriously, a guy who really loves you isn't going to be a womanizer! Geez! Maybe you need to meditate for a while, talk with your friends, maybe a counselor if you feel you need it and try to get with a guy who's going to be REALLY good for you. Peace!

Sounds to me like you're setting yourself up for failure. Trust me- save yourself the pain and stay away from it. You should really watch Bridget Jones' Diary. It deals with this exact issue.

if your out to get yourself hurt go for it!! if you don't want to get hurt i would suggest to you to walk away and don't look back ask yourself why would i want to be with a womanizer?? you can only have a low self-esteem if you do. i don't know but you need to get your issues straight and leave it alone girl.
