I don't think that's a fact but some people are more prone to plaque and tartar build up, I'm one of them. I can get my teeth cleaned every 3 months if my ins. would pay. I use a pre rinse to help keep the plaque build up down, it works. Also, ACT after rinse puts a coat of flouride on your teeth and helps to ptotect them from cavities. Wal Mart has their own brand, cheaper and as good.

Gosh, I don't think so... here's what my dentist told me:

Plaque is a bacteria that grows in your mouth. It's not just on your teeth, it's also that fuzzy feeling in your mouth when you wake up in the morning.

She said we should brush our teeth at least every 12 hours... after that, the plaque bonds to the teeth and then you need a dentist to pick and scrape it off.

You mean teeth right? I doubt it, if you brush your teeth, or have it professionally cleaned like you are supposed to twice per year, I do not see how it would do that.
