Watch the cat . A ffire bellied toad can be very poisonous.

Special Handling
One thing to keep in mind with OFBT is that they are toxic. These toxins will build up in their water and substrate. This is why you change the water every day (if unfiltered), and weekly (if filtered), and why you change the substrate frequently. If you do not do this, the toxins can build up enough to kill your toads themselves. This also means that you should keep your handling of them to an absolute minimum. If you do have to pick them up, I suggest you use clean latex gloves to do so. In addition to their toxins possibly affecting you, the oils on your skin, as well as anything left from whatever else you’ve handled, can be absorbed through the toad’s skin, making them sick (another good reason to wear latex gloves).

I cannot stress this enough! OFBT are toxic to other animals! If one escapes, and your cat or dog eats it, they will get sick, possibly die! If you house another animal with the OFBT, they will probably die!

You might want to watch her closely tonight (or take her to the Pet ER) and get her to the vet in the morning. Toads do have some poisons in them.
