In the book Autobiography of a Yogi a yogic scholar explained that the Bible is not to be taken so literally. Adam represents logic and Eve emotion. When emotion overpowers logic we digressed to sexual reproduction (the forbidden fruit) a method that is unnecessary in the divine realms.
