I guess everyone has their own definition of what is good. For some people, being good once a year or every other week is consider a great deal of good and no more needs to be done. For others, being good is what they have been doing all their lives. If being good means following the rules and obeying the laws and doing what's right, than I'm good. If being good means not stealing, not cheating, being true to my words, respecting my elders, giving a helping hand, and doing what is consider to be right, than I'm good. If I see someone dropped a hundred dollars bill on the street than I would get it and give it back to the owner. If I see an old lady who needs help crossing the street, than I would give her a helping hand. Sometimes when I drive off a freeway and see a homeless person begging for money, than I would be very tempted to give a few dollars of what I have just to help him/her out, even if I have already given him/her money before. If being good means being professional while on the job even when I'm very tired and cranky, than I would still perform my job with a great attitude and pretend that I'm not tired and everything is OK, than I'm good. If being good means that I don't just act good once in a while but actually live the life of goodness as I have explained, than I'm very good. To me being good is the easy part of life, it's not being good that takes effort. I know this sounds awkward, but that's only because you probably don't consider yourselves to be good, but to those who do, you know what I mean.
