The trial of Norton Antivirus that I downloaded has expired. How can I expand this trial without buying the software?

honestly mate... your best bet is to remove and delete it from your system. My suggestion... open up a search engine (google/yahoo/etc) and type in "AVG free". You'll get a link to the free download from AVG. Believe me... for being free... it works A LOT better than many of the ones you have to pay for. Along with the AVG antivirus/program... i also suggest you go and download the Yahoo Pop-Up Blocker and Tool Bar. Again, for being free... it works A LOT better than the ones you have to pay for and it lets you set up the tool bar how you want or even not show. Norton is known for making computers and the internet run slow on systems.

Why do you want to be a criminal for the very worse garbage in the world. Nortons is pure junk for many years and continues to get worse each an every year. Not worth being a criminal for such junk. (You should of joined the military and became a "crypto operator". Then you would know about "Brut Force", to break the clock in the evaluation period). And the program would run for life.

Here is a site that has an excellent state of the art techology, antivirus program that is free for home personal use. (I use this program for over nine years in my secondary pc and never had one virus). You get free updates daily, plus all new versions and this program scans all 175,000 objects in my system. Excellent support if needed. The corporte version is the same has the free version they just make corporate pay. They will ask you for your email address, as they will send you a free key that is good for one year. After the one year you must request another key.

Plus Nortons is a big resource hog that will slow your pc down to a halt. An if you think Nortons will find a virus you are dreaming, as Nortons would not know a virus in their face. An if there is one they are not able to remove.

When you remove Nortons, from add/remove you are left with over 300 fragments glued to all your files/folders and hidden all over your system... You are going to play H E L L, if there is conflict with the fragments trying to find and remove them.
