To mate a Chihuahua with a Labrador mix is not a very good or smart thing to do----even if the small dog gets pregnant for may get seriously injured due to the other dog being so much bigger but just suppose-she,the chichuacua will NOT be able to birth the puppies unl;ess the VET does a Ceasarian which can also be dangerous for she has to be put to sleep and there is always a risk, even with humans.(This applies if the smaller dog is the female) Even if smaller dog the male it is NEVER a good idea to mess around with Nature.

You really need to remember that a cross like the one you mentioned if the female is the Chihuahua this mix could KILL the Chihuahua.
The small female can not handle the puppy's of the bigger breed.
Usually such mixes are not intended.

Well, at the vet clinic where I work we currently have Blue Heeler/Rat Terrier mix puppies that we are trying to find homes. They are the strangest looking puppies I have ever seen (and yet they're still adorable!). They are large bodied, big eared, short haired (not sleek haired), colored like Rat Terriers but w/ some merle mixed in (like Blue Heelers), and also have small feet. They are so ill proportioned and look so clumsy!! They are only 10 weeks old, so they will hopefully grow into their bodies lol

Wow! That combo doesn't bear thinking about! We had a mixed breed once and she was probably the best dog we ever had. Definitely the smartest. Have no idea what breeds she was. You take a chance with a mix though. You don't know the temperament of the breeds in them. We were lucky.

I saw a Bloodhound/Corgi mix once. I felt so sorry for the dog!! What an UGLY baby!! lol I feel so bad saying that but words can't describe! I prefer purebreds anyway, they have less health problems too.

I had a chihuahua male many years ago that bred a german shepherd. Saw the mating with my own eyes. Funniest thing you ever saw. Never got to see the pups tho because we moved away.

In high school we had an imaginary dog named 'Flash', he was a Chihuahua and Great Dane mix... don't ask what he looked like, 'cause he was a figment of our imagination.
And we weren't even doing drugs back in them days!!
