God used many authors. Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible around 1440 BC. The apostle John wrote the book of Revelation around 92 AD. God delivered messages to the recipients about different things at different times. There are no originals present, just reliable copies. There may have been originals as late as the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD by the Roman Empire, but that wiped out many of the manuscripts. It is not a problem though, because early writers and commentators about the Bible quote it accurately when compared to what we have. There are some slight variations among the copies and text families, but these don't influence any of the teachings. The earliest manuscripts are seen as those that are the most reliable.

It needed to be translated from its original language to the language of those who want to read it.
The original was not a multilingual book like those that come with household appliances offering instructions in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.

All of the writers are God inspired. God told them what to write, even if they didn't know it was from God, and sven since basically none of them knew they were even writing the bible.
