I am taking 300 mg of Welbutrin, 20 mg of Lexapro and I'm thinking about starting to take 100 mg of 5-HTP, L-Tyrosine, Vitamin B-6 and B-12, 30 mg of Ginkgo Biloba, 595 mg of Potassium Gluconate, 400 mg of Folic Acid, a Multi-Vitamin, and 1000 mg of Fish Oil Concentrate. Is this a good combination? Also, is there any other supplements I should take. This is a serious question.

Thats a good combo. Make sure you take the 5-HTP at bedtime. You may want to add L-Theanine 100mg a day if you experience anxiety. I would increase the Fish Oil to 3000mg a day. Studies have shown some better improvements in depression with the higher dose. Make sure your multivitamin is good quality. DHEA and SAMe are also things to consider.

SAMe is believed to banish depression by increasing the synthesis of neurotransmitters that are crucial to normal mood, behavior, and emotion. Although normally abundant, SAMe levels decline with age and drop dramatically during bouts of depression.

You must make sure to consult your doctor and pharmacist regarding suppliments and drugs. Some can have a negative reaction and others can make the drug not work.
