I would think a 3 yrs old would be a little young for dance class..most of the ones I know of want them to be 4.. if you have a mothers Day out type program at your local church..or another neighborhood church..that is what i did for mine..just a play group like 2 mornings a week for a few hours...go home and take a bath alone....lol

Does she have interests she wants to pursue, like dance or art? Three year olds are typically too young for organized activities. she's at the age where she needs to do activities with you - she learns best in one on one situations with her mommy. So, seek out children's museums, zoos, art galleries, moonbounce businesses, park trails, petting zoos, put don't 'put her in' something - do things with her. when she's 5/6 is time enough for joining activities.

Usually they prefer children to be at least 5 years old for dance and gymnastics. You might get her into some tumbling classes. Your local YMCA might have something avaiable.

why not a local pre-school, they take kids here at this one at the age of 3, my son has lots of 3 year olds in his class. your daughter would meet new friends and also would be started on her learning her colors and numbers, learning how to share and be polite, etc... she would love it
