No, but you better go down there tomorrow and make them fix it, before someone comes and reposses the car, parked in your driveway, which you don't legally own.

Yes, it does happen. A lot of the times a new car is shipped with its window sticker coming at a later date and it has to be matched up with the right car. Human error, like car, different vin number. The sales person takes the vin number off the window sticker and not off the car. It should be easy to fix, but it can take some time.

i did ,i bought a new 1974 Chevy nova,and the paper work said it was a nova SS ,and when i went to get the tag for it they wouldn't tag it,so i went back,and since the paper work had already been put in my name they gave me the 74 SS,instead of the plain nova that i had bought and payed for,they really didn't want to,but really they had no choice about it,they did ask me to pay the difference between the two,but i said no,and i got a new nova SS for the price of a plain old nova,i think that was one of the best deals i ever got on a car,good luck i hope this help,s.

yup 2 years ago that happned to me and what a big mess! you have to go back to the dealership then go to penn dot to get everything changed again.
