And when i resume, the MS word application freezes and I lose my work? Can anyone give any advice. Can i leave Word application open during stand-by? is this causing the freeze?

Try it without and see if the computer still freezes.

could always save it before you get up from the pc, so if it freezes you can open it and itll be where u left it

i don't have this problem. would this because of the computer problem? Like not enough ram...or other reasons (by the way, i am not good in computer things)
