Any Christian who says they are offended by your aviatar doesn't know the true meaning of Christian. Christians are to live without offense. Things like that should not offend us, after all, how can we spread the news if we are affended by the appearence of our audience. I mean geez people. There is nothing bad about your avitar. Heck, the "horned devil" is not really what satan looks like anyway, it's what people originally made up as kind of a mock of him. Lucifer was the most beautiful angel in Heaven before he sinned and was cast out, it says no where in the Bible he was turned into a red horned creature. And as far as the show of skin, you aren't showing any more than anyone else does on the street. I think the avitar is kind of neat looking myself, and I am a born again Christian. Don't change it for ignorant people's opinions.

I am not offended, but are you truly wearing the costume to portray the Pagan Horned God? Probably not. It is not an accurate representation of the Pagan God, but is the twisted Christian version, like you said, of their "devil."
As far as being a woman in the costume, MY personal beliefs include polarity - the female AND male aspect of divinity. So, to me the Horned God and the Goddess are two aspects of one divine being.
"If it harms none, do as you will." Some may consider "harm" to include offending someone, but you will NEVER be able to make EVERYONE happy ALL of the time!
Peace.

No offense here. In fact, the more people you piss of with something as simple as an avatar simply narrows the pool of people you won't have to weed out later. Let's be serious here, if a picture of an attractive woman dressed as the Mr. Satan really is enough to spur someone to action by way of proclamation of their personal offense-they are way too shallow to be engaging in any type of intellectual parry.

Hey lady, you haven't offended me and I am a Christian. Please stop being so judgmental and lumping everyone into a single category that suits your personal bias. Other than it being not the greatest avitar I have ever seen, it is quite an appropriate photo for this time of year. Trick or Treat!! Take care...

Are you TRYING to offend the Pagans or Wiccans out here?
Intent is always more important than the props you use, IMHO. And if you're trying to intentionally offend others, well, you're the one who gets to deal with that Return, so what others think is irrelevant.

it quite is needless to say a perception it rather is extremely near to her so which you will be able to desire to appreciate. i do no longer think of it;s insulting to Christianity, she merely would not have that large of humorousness. enable her no which you probably did no longer advise to offend her and which you do no longer think of something much less of her for her ideals and in line with danger clarify the shaggy dog tale.If after that she's nevertheless rather indignant approximately it,I advise you by no potential convey faith or god as much as her returned.

I could be terrible wrong, but I really don't think that any being into creating universes would give a rat's *** what avatar any of us would use. It's just so damned trivial it's mind boggling!

the horned god was depicted with antlers that had several tines, like a large stag, not the small goat-style horns of the christian devil.
however even if you had the imagry correct, i doubt that you would offend many Pagans, simply because we donot see the need to make everyone believe in our way, and that we usually believe that everyone must walk their own path.

Hmm - so many questions, so little space to answer with :)
To be honest, if people are that easily offended, then it is they - not you - who has a problem. Just worry about being yourself, and let others take credit for their own ulcers.
