ok, i extract the rar file, which gives me a video file, and a bunch of other stuff(.R01 and stuff). now, can somebody IN SIMPLE ENGLISH please explain to me how i can burn this video file to a dvd (with a dvd burner). I see the video when i open the video file, but i cannot seem to burn it to a dvd.

No problem.
Download Nero from nero.com.
Install the free 30-day trial and then say that you want to create a video dvd. You may have to click down the dvd tab in the "Nero Smart Start"
Then select the video file you got from the RAR and you're done!

Once you extract the file put it into another folder then use nero to burn it to dvd also make sure its in the right format or you wont be able to watch it .

first you will need a DVD Burner (not a CD burner) Nero is good for burning. open nero to burn DVD... then open the file and burn it.. However,,, it will not play on your TV DVD player. only your computer..
You would need a Movie program for that.. Such as Showbiz DVD2 by Arcsoft.. or Roxio Creator
