Nope, there's no drug for hopelessness. There are many for depression, tho. So--is it really hopelessness or depression? The best source for hope is faith. If you are Christian, go to your Bible, look in the back for verses on hope and just start reading. If you are not Christian, go to the Scriptures of your Religion or talk to your Spiritual leader. If it's depression, find a good psychologist and talk

Check into Bach natural remedies in the health food store. Also, you may also want to combine that with counseling through talk therapy. Watch what you are eating; only healthy, no sugar, no alcohol. Exercise daily. Find something that helps others that you can do; volunteer to help someone learn to read, teach someone English, etc.

Anti-depressants can help with that. They help with steretonin, which just increases mood all together, basically. Sometimes being in a better mood helps give you more hope and a more positive outlook on life.

l-Tyrosine, 500 mg. twice daily, will lift spirits, ease depression & create hopeful outlook with positive energy. Try it - you'll like it. But take B-complex with it - so it works better . Buy it at vitamin stores.

Also - pray daily to God, & adore Him & ask for hope & improvement. Prayer changes things.

B Complex vitamins & Omega 3.
Exercise will help elevate mood, too.
Whatever you're going through will pass. Hang in there.
