I went out on Saturday and foolishly gave my number to a guy who asked. I say foolishly because I really was not into him at all I had just met him, talked for a little bit and he asked for my number. I don't really know how to say no to guys when they ask for my number. So he called me yesterday saying he really wanted to talk to me and he called me again today with a different number saying the same thing, all on my voicemail. I don't know what to do, I thought maybe if I ignore him it will just go away. What guy calls the next day?

My question is this 1) How can I deny someone my number without being mean the future who I am not feeling? and 2) what should I do about this guy?

Whenever I go out and someone Im not into asks me for my number I will usually make up an excuse to get their number so I can call them instead " I actually don't have a cellphone, but if you give me your number I can call you" usually works on men--they arent always that clever :P haha. For this guy I would either be brutally honest and tell him that you are not interested, or I would tell him that Im interested in someone at the momment and not looking for anything more.

just say you know what...I don't know what I was thinking giving you my number and all but my boyfriend doesn't appreciate you keep calling like this. In the future to guys who want your number and your not feelin in that way....just say how about you give me your number instead and I'll call you.

Screen your calls! If you think you are going to see him in the future call him and say look, I thought about it and I just cannot afford to have a relationship right now. It's a great excuse and it works

Man girl, don't give a guy your number if you ain't feeling him cause you're just leading him on big time. To answer your first question, just give guys your fake number. (Except one time I gave this one girl my fake number and she called it to see if it would work..try to avoid that) Question number two...just ignore the guy and he will go away.

Easy. The next time someone asks that you don't want to have your number say you have a boyfriend.

For this guy. Tell him that you just met someone that you would like to have a relationship with.

They have both worked for me.

I appreciate that you have a good heart and don't want to be mean but saying no doesn't have to be. There is always a way to be tactful. Now that I think of it, you sound really nice, Can I have your number?

Change your number, or tell him a story like "I accidentally gave you my sister's number, and she's d-a-m-n pissed at those annoying calls. So, I'll give you mine." and give him a fake number. Later on, he'll get the hint you're not interested, and he'll leave you alone.

Just say you don't do that kind of thing. They should understand. And for this guy... maybe you should get your number changed..
