Never had a boyfriend,am i unusual?

im a fourteen year old girl, and ive never had a boyfriend, i have been asked out before , but never said yes beacuse i get so embarrassed or shy, all my friends try and make me feel better by saying that their boyfriends have never been serious but i still feel like im strange or that im weird, is it unusual for my age to never of had a boyfriend?

dood, you're only 14~!! just have fun and stuff, you don't need a relationship at such a young age. mature a little, and at the age 14, i wouldn't consider anything a dating relationship. i didn't get a boyfriend until i was about 16 and i still think i wasn't mature enough to handle a lot situations. our relationship lasted 5 years all the way into college. so you want to make everything more special and not just random and meaningless. trust me, you don't want drama in your life.

i dont think so. i'm 24 and when i was your age even when girls said they had boyfriends, they were really never what most people would consider to be real boyfriends. i don't think it's unusual at all. look at it this way boys have asked you out and you've said no, that means if you really want a boyfriend then you can have one.

Of course not..I had my first Kiss at 16 and then I didn't have my first serious bf til I was 19. We're all different in what we are ready for and when things happen to us...enjoy being 14 and not having any responisbilities except to yourself and your education
