not sure of spelling...were you awake or asleep?

Yes, I've had about 10 in the past 7 years, and I was awake for all of them. I think the worse part of having them done is staying at the hospital without being able to walk or move your leg for 8-10 hours. Since they numb the area, you shouldn't feel any pain while having it done.

I had one.

They give you tranquilizers.

They prefer to keep you awake so you can move a bit if they need you in a slightly different position.

I dosed off anyway.

I was pretty frightened going in but it turned out there was nothing to it. Not nearly as bad as having a tooth drilled.

Had one, was awake, watched on the screen, didn't feel a thing. Apparently they can go through your wrist, but they went through the artery just below groin right leg. They put a great deal of pressure on the puncture afterwords "so you won't bleed out on them", reminds me of the kid with his finger in the dyke...no not that type, the levee type...hey! the heart attack! that was scary thought it was indigestion...

I was awake it's not that bad mostly embarrassing.

not had one but have worked in radiology for years. What do you want to know? Very simple procedure.
