to make brownies in a ceramic casserole? That's all I have right now...

yes it will be fine-- did you know that if you line the baking dish with foil---making sure it is bigger then the pan you can lift it up fom the dish and you will be able to cut it into squares easier.

You can make brownies in any form of bake wear as long as you can put it in the oven it's all good

Yes, just make sure you use shortening to grease the pan with or use PAM so the brownies won't stick.
