Yes, the Canadian girl is probably wrong and evil...you know how us Canadians are. I am only happy to say that I haven't lived here for my entire life...
You don't need to pick up extra shifts at Subway; when I told my mum that I was going to live in Canada, she took my allowance away as well, but I didn't go and get an extra job or more work time. I taught myself the fine art of dumpster diving. Almost everything in my apartment is something I found for free. That's just as well though because I'm so clumsy that I usually break everything I own within a month of getting it--I trip into stuff and run into walls all of the time...
Besides, if your wrong and evil Canadian girlfriend decides to actually do something evil to your stuff, it won't matter if it breaks because you'll have gotten it for free...

Makes sense to me. It's all in the exchange rate. Canadian women are worth 60-70 cents on the US dollar.

Every mother loves her kids. Your mother loves you too. At 42, you are not supposed to depend on your mother financially. Work hard and be independent. Support her when she gets old.

I stopped getting allowence when i was like 13.... grow up.. and find a new job that actually pays!!!!
p.s. MOVE OUT!!!! i don't know why she is dating you, you still live at home... that is WAY unatractive!!!
