I'm desperate, I'm attending a class with a little one tomorrow and everyone (including the adults) must bring their own finger puppets! I know this is a stupid question, but artsy people, what are some easy ideas for making a finger puppet?

Hi, I have used white work gloves, cut the fingers off, depending on how many you want to make...you can use colored markers to draw the faces, or you can paint them on, you can use the googly eyes in craft stores...you can add yarn for hair or there is also doll hair at the craft stores also that looks like real hair....depending on how much time you have, and how much work you want to put into it...I put wings on mine to make angels....cut out of felt pieces or lace, hot glued on the back...on the bottom half of the finger part of the glove you can paint or use the markers to draw clothes on them....you can use pieces of old clothing to cut the clothes cut to fit finger puppet...and glue on...lace, for girls, or angels....jeans and an old shirt for a guy or farmer...add a hat....ok, yes I love crafts....lol...hope this helps some...good luck...have fun...=)

you know the rhyme about the little piggies dont you? You can easily clip the fingertips off of winter gloves, reinforce them with a hem, and make little piggies out of felt. This little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home.. etc.

You could also do the three billy goats gruff.. witha troll, i have seen that done. it is rather cute.

just think of a favorite, yet simple and easily told story, and the sky is the limit!

Cut the tip off a snow glove. Add two button eyes in white (black texta dots in between) and glue/sew two triangles to the top. You now have a dog. Add whiskers and you have a cat. Got a red glove? Add eyes and a dyed cotton wool ball (brown) and you have little red riding hood and her basket. Good Luck!
