If you read the Koran the answer will be obvious to you. They are simply following the word and commandments of their holy book. I have heard others argue that some extremeist Christians perform acts of terrorism in the name of their religious beliefs; however there is a big difference. In those cases, the Christian extremeists are only following their own personal beliefs, not the literal word of their holy scripture. In the cases of Muslim extremeists, they are following both the word and commandments of Allah AND their personal beliefs. That's why Muslim extremeism is much, much more prevalent and very dangerous to the non-Muslim world.

They have been taught since they were young children that Islam is the superior race and they believe that Muslims that die for their beliefs receive great rewards in heaven. Scary huh? They learn about Allah in school, sad that we can't even say the name of Jesus in this country in our schools, it's hard to raise children with faith because any hope you try to give them gets ripped out of their hearts when they get to school.
