How do you have a wife that you never knew about? Was it an arranged marriage which was beyond your control, which I wouldn't blame you for by the way. Or did you get married to this women while you were drunk and forgot all about her the next day only remembering that you drank alot and you currently have a huge hangover. That, I would blame you for. But what ever it is, abandoning your current family is not even one of the options your have. Would you really give up the family you've been building for the last 10 years and take the "other" women in under your wings? I don't think so. Just get a divorce with the girl and tell her to hit the road, you don't need anymore problems that you already have. 8 kids? Must be a hassle.

Was this an arranged marriage that took place without your presence/consent?
Well... this sounds an awful lot like this story I know.
What can you really do? You made a concious comitment with your current wife of 10 years. That holds precedent in my opinion.
Is this other wife in Africa? Is there a way you can end that marriage? Do you have any plans on returning to Africa? Are you planning on meeting this other woman? Who informed you? Family?
Maybe there's a way to let this other wife free of her commitment and you continue on with your current family/lifestyle.
I know it's a hard situation so I I wish you the best of luck in dealing with it!

i would say honor the wife you are with. i know this is a culture thing but like you said you didnt know unless you did know since you came to america when you were 19. r u sure u weren't trying to run from what you know is something that is done in your country?

A)Cover up the marriage by flaunting your cash, (i know you have cash, your a poopinshowa, damn it!)
B)Tap both, (He said he would love to do so, but he can't find his pills to help his impotence)
C)Sell the old wife as a slave and live richly with your new wife.
