I recently got a survey in my mailbox from yahoo personals, I had signed up for an account back when I was in high school (or around that time, like 4-6 years ago??) and I forgot to cancel it (probably because I've never received mail from anyone, ever), anyway I took this recent survey. I got a 4 on it. As if some test could actually tell me I should "Consider hiring a coach or therapist to help you readjust your thinking". Although the last time I checked, one of the only ways to determine if someone had a mental disorder, was to give them a written test...um...I didn’t really think that you could pass or fail a disease or disorder by taking a written exam.

Well needless to say (in my own opinion) that there isn't someone for everyone, just by logical thinking (see link below). Regardless who else thinks that these surveys are stupid? I'm going to cancel this stupid yahoo personal thing now.

Maybe we can get therapy together:

13 or under -- There's a strong likelihood that you are severely crippled in your love life by rejection fears. Often folks with scores like yours are just about paralyzed and unable to take any action at all to find love. If you are to have a good chance at finding the best partner, you need to do some intensive work to get more realistic and less panicked. Consider hiring a coach or therapist to help you readjust your thinking.

No, I do not agree. The low carb way of eating has been around for decades. Mr Atkins was not the first person to say it was a good thing. Besides, just like some people being unable to eat some foods, not all diets are for all people. Some people have to restrict their carb intake because of allergies and other conditions. Low carb is good for me because it helps me regulate my blood sugar. Regulated blood sugar means I don't have to take insulin, which means I avoid a host of side effects from insulin. I achieve low carb eating by cutting out sugar, having lots of fiber rich vegetables, and eating good quality protein from a variety of sources. Rice, while very affordable, is not a good food for some people, esp. the processed white rice, which has the outside removed and is almost nutritionally deficient. It is just like eating white bread; no fiber, no minerals, only calories. Whole brown rice is much better. It is not mentally unhealthy to consider rice a food that might be bad for you, for some of us, it is a dangerous food, as is corn, which the body metabolizes like sugar. You can survive without eating carbs. It has been done, people can maintain a low carb lifestyle for years. What is unnatural is the amount of sugar the modern person eats, and the reduced variety of foods available due to big business cutting out the local farmer and breeding hardier plants with less flavor and nutrients that stay fresh longer, and so can be shipped farther.
